X-Series

The X series interceptors are suitable for boats from 8 to 18 meters. Available in five standard sizes: 300 – 900 mm. All with a travel of 50 mm.

The X series achieves the same result as any other series of interceptors but is only found in four sizes, 300, 450, 600 and 750 mm. There are two types of axes depending on the thickness of the transom.

If your boat complies with these measures, this is the interceptor system that best suits you.

Series H & HA

SERIES H, Y, HA-SERIES The units of the H and HA series with 50 mm blade stroke can be produced in any size between 350 and 1,500 mm, and can also be adapted to fit a specific helmet design such as In a propeller tunnel. You can customize its shape to suit the stern shield. No matter what the helmet design there is always a solution. There are two types of axes depending on the thickness of the Transom.


HE and HAE Series

When more lifting force is needed, the HE and HAE series with a 75 mm travel are suitable. The sizes vary between 400 and 1,500 mm and the units can also be produced adaptively if the type of helmet requires it.

HLS-Series

The HLS series is used for yachts over 50 meters. It is deployed in a travel of up to 110 mm. This series can also be produced adaptively.

Stabilisation at all speeds

The new 24 VDC fin stabilizers of state-of-the-art technology have a game change and offer several advantages compared to what was before in the market. With 24 VDC, the system can be operated without operating a generator set. The main motor alternators charge the batteries that power the system during the trip and with the ship anchored the system can operate for a long time only with battery power, using our energy regeneration technology. Less noise, less fuel and less wear.

The system provides full stabilization from zero speed to maximum speed. The robust servo actuators are also extremely compact. And with the 24 V supply, no hydraulic pumps or AC power modules are needed that take up space. This also means an easier installation in both updates and new constructions.

And best of all, the system can be fully integrated with our interceptors, so that the rocking, nodding and yaw movements are controlled by a single system. The coordinated turning function increases comfort during turns, coordinating the fin and rudder movement.

For large yachts, our quadruple function facilitates the installation of four fin stabilizers on a yacht.

A new, unique and innovative customizable flap design

Depending on the design of the helmet, a rotating fin could interfere with some prate of it, such as the pantoque or a rail. That is why the adaptive fin was born. The upper part of the fin is solid, so it would be enough to cut it to the desired shape to avoid fiber jobs that require time and money.

Remove anchor offset

The exceptional ability to rotate the 360º fins allows them to depart from the finish or anchor anchor. It provides more stability to the anchor because Humphree fins help anchor. This translates into minimal swing, more comfort and more safety.

Electric rudders

Humphree 24 VDC electric rudders provide superb heading stability, minimizing yaw. Rudders operate in manual mode and in autopilot mode. Effective integration with water turbines minimizes traction losses when governing, which saves fuel and increases ship speed. The use of electric rudders also reduces wear on water turbine systems.

Fixed heading stabilizing fins

Many boats with water turbines have trouble keeping their bearings. This is due to the absence of a lateral underwater area that helps the ship stay on course. An added lateral zone has maximum effectiveness when installed on the stern end of the hull. With a wing profile fin, a corrective force of the yaw is obtained with minimal resistance. Humphree has developed a series of fixed fins that can be screwed into the helmet. The screws have been tested and verified to break and keep the hull intact to limit damage to the ship.

AUTOMATIC TRIM CONTROL

When it accelerates and operates at different speeds, the ship sails with various trim angles. In many situations, this results in a poor trim angle, high strength, poor visibility and less comfort. The automatic trim control ensures that the boat trimests perfectly at all speeds, thus reducing fuel consumption and environmental impact.

The pilot can manually cancel the automatic functions at any time it deems appropriate.

AUTOMATIC LIST CONTROL

Irregular loading, side winds and other different conditions normally cause a boat tilt. When traveling in a straight course, the automatic tilt control levels the keel of the ship. The captain can adjust the objective inclination for specific sea conditions.

Fifteen years of continuous improvement have resulted in numerous safety, comfort, and performance functions; and intelligent turn control. When turning, the system allows the boat to choose naturally and then reactivates when the boat resumes the straight course. Everything is automatic, allowing the captain to focus on navigation.

COORDINATED TURN CONTROL

For most applications, comfort and safety on board can be greatly improved when turning by correcting the keel angle of the boat during the turn. The coordinated turn control monitors the position of the rudder and the interceptor blade is coordinated with the movement of the rudder during turns. In addition to the considerable improvement in comfort, the ship will maintain better speed during the turn and the turning angle can be improved.

ACTIVE

In the open sea, ships are constantly exposed to waves that cause rocking and pitching movements that worsen comfort on board. With active Humphree stabilization and thanks to ultra-fast servomotors, the interceptors are activated instantly to counteract unwanted movements. ACTIVE stabilization includes an advanced travel control unit (RCU = Ride Control Unit) that uses a digital controller with adaptive control algorithms and an advanced set of sensors with GPS, gyroscope and accelerometers.

The combination of sensitive, electrically operated, high-stroke interceptors with a sophisticated control system produces effective stabilization at semi-flat and glide speeds. Easy to use with the easy-to-use control panel. The use of interceptor compensators for stabilization is extremely effective because there is no added resistance or added weight to consider. This is something exceptional among marine stabilization systems.

The ACTIVE stabilization software also includes the automatic tilt function. This means that trim, tilt and stabilization are all in the package. For the complete package, choose ACTIVE + stabilization that also includes coordinated rotation.
